Accounts Payable Supervisor - Norwich

Keeler Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to accounts payable operations and lead a dedicated small team.

The Role:
- Managing the day to-day running of the department, including line management of a small team
- Evaluate accounts payable processes, proposing and implementing changes to generate efficiencies
- Processing accounts payable transactions by verifying, classifying, and recording invoices
- Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure all invoices and payments are accurately posted
- Resolve discrepancies resolving any discrepancies by reconciling supplier accounts and monthly statements
- Preparing payments, organising and preparing weekly supplier payment runs.
- Maintaining supplier records, updating and managing new and existing suppliers in accounting system, including international accounts
- Generating invoices, generating accounts receivable invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations: managing bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
- Supporting month end processes, assisting the finance team with month-end processes and audits
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in accounts payable and line managing a small team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
