Accounts Payable Supervisor - Norwich

Up to £34,000 - Hybrid working

Keeler Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to accounts payable operations and lead a dedicated small team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled accounts professional looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role:

  • Managing the day to-day running of the department, including line management of a small team
  • Evaluate accounts payable processes, proposing and implementing changes to generate efficiencies
  • Processing accounts payable transactions by verifying, classifying, and recording invoices
  • Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure all invoices and payments are accurately posted
  • Resolve discrepancies resolving any discrepancies by reconciling supplier accounts and monthly statements
  • Preparing payments, organising and preparing weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Maintaining supplier records, updating and managing new and existing suppliers in accounting system, including international accounts
  • Generating invoices, generating accounts receivable invoices
  • Performing bank reconciliations: managing bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
  • Supporting month end processes, assisting the finance team with month-end processes and audits

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable and line managing a small team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
