Role Responsibilities
  • Leading internal audit assignments from planning through to reporting, ensuring files are ready for manager/partner review
  • Conducting fieldwork and delivering advisory assignments (approx. 70% fieldwork, 30% reporting and client liaison)
  • Collaborating with clients to plan effective internal audit cycles tailored to their risk registers and governance needs
  • Preparing terms of reference, setting timelines, and managing deliverables in line with budget and client expectations
  • Overseeing your own time and that of junior staff to ensure audit assignments are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Participating in business development, attending networking events, and supporting marketing initiatives

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA / IIA part or fully qualified status (essential)
  • Proven experience planning and delivering internal audits across a range of clients (essential)
  • Confidence in client-facing roles with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to build rapport with clients, partners, and team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
