NXTGEN are delighted to be working with a fantastic, highly successful business based in Norwich City Centre who are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to come in manage a high flying transactional team. As Finance Manager, you will be asked to review the current financial policies, processes and reporting templates with the idea to potentially implementing new ideas. This role has been created to help support the finance controller with budget setting, reporting and forecasting, embedding processes and overall being hands on with month end management accounts. A hugely important part of this role will be supporting team members and showing the adaptability to have different management styles to suit your team and get the best from each individual. this is a vibrant team who all work closely together so team fit is everything.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of month end management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial risk forecasting and templates
- Providing accurate and timely reports
- Help to develop new and existing services and resources
- Various other ad-hoc finance related duties as asked of you by the FC/CEO
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA. You must have proven working experience in a Finance Manager or Management Accountant position where you have produced management accounts, budgets and ideally you would have experience in managing a team. Strong Excel skills an essential skill and will be needed for this opportunity. Our client will be looking for a confident and bright candidate for this role as you will be working with senior management and may be asked to present to the SLT. Salary DOE: 40,000-47,000
