Senior Finance Officer

Norwich, up to £28,000

Fantastic opportunity has arisen within this Norwich charity based within their head office for a Senior Finance Officer. As Senior Finance Officer you will be joining small finance team on a full time basis, reporting to Head of Finance, managing day to day accounting functions and ensuring month end and year end deadlines are met and overseeing finance assistant.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable, ensure payments paid accurately and in line with suppliers' terms and payment runs
  • Accounts receivable, oversee sales invoices process and recorded accurately
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Provide monthly balance sheet reports
  • Supporting with providing year end statutory accounts
  • Reporting on monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Additional finance support where required

The ideal candidate will have current experience within a similar role, preferably gained within charity and be AAT qualified or similar and people management knowledge would be advantageous.
