Job Purpose
  • Lead advisory work for a significant portfolio of reputable corporate clients.
  • Monitor all commercial aspects of portfolio management for your selection of clients, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
  • Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
  • Oversee compliance and financial planning processes and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Regular communication with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Assist junior team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training.
  • Support the Tax Partners, Directors and the compliance team with the preparation of computations where needed.
  • Interpret changes to taxation legislation and provide trusted advisory to clients and colleagues.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities.
  • Support business development strategies, including preparing proposals, actively seeking out opportunities, and assisting with marketing initiatives.
  • Lead development activities including publishing articles, presentations and networking.

  • CTA or ACA qualified, or equivalent, with at least 3 years’ experience of corporate tax work.
  • Qualified by extensive experience would also be considered.
