Reed Financial Services are currently seeking a proactive and client-focused Independent Financial Adviser to join an expanding team with an existing client book. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating holistic financial plans, providing sound financial advice, generating new business, and nurturing existing client relationships, all while ensuring compliance with our firm’s processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop comprehensive financial plans to assist clients in achieving their financial objectives.
  • Offer informed advice on current financial matters and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Actively generate new business and establish strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients through excellent service and consistent follow-up.
  • Adhere to all compliance and administrative processes set forth by the firm.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in financial planning and advisory roles.
  • Strong ability to create and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A track record of generating new business and meeting revenue targets.
  • Commitment to upholding compliance standards and administrative processes.

Benefits:

  • Standard working hours: 9 am - 5 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
  • 21 days holiday, increasing by 1 day per year of service, up to a maximum of 28 days.
  • Standard Life pension scheme with 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution; Salary Sacrifice available.

Deliverables:

  • The adviser is responsible for justifying their salary by generating gross revenue at least three times their salary.
