Join a leading national business advisory firm in Norwich as a Financial Advisory Executive.
You will support team members on financial due diligence, lender due diligence, independent business reviews, valuations, and financial modelling projects. This role involves managing your own workload, performing detailed financial analysis, and providing a key point of contact throughout engagements. You'll develop an understanding of when to seek help from senior team members, attend client meetings, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial due diligence, lender due diligence, independent business reviews, valuations, and financial modelling projects.
- Manage your own workload and keep team members informed of progress.
- Provide a point of contact for routine project issues.
- Attend client meetings and support client take-on and risk processes.
- Maintain client files and ensure compliance with policies.
- Support business development activities and networking.
Client Work:
- Work closely with a Director or Manager on project execution.
- Perform initial analysis of financial information and forecasting.
- Prepare reports and financial models.
- Identify potential issues and raise them with senior team members.
- Accompany senior team members to client meetings and assist with preparation and follow-up.
Business Development:
- Attend networking events and develop a network of peers.
- Assist with business development and marketing activities.
- Support research and preparation of proposals.
Team Management:
- Seek and act upon feedback from all levels.
- Assist with general correspondence, administration (including billing), and ad hoc projects.
Risk & Quality:
- Act with integrity and comply with risk management procedures.
- Ensure quality on all client deliverables.
- Undertake regular CPD in line with ACA/ACCA requirements.
- Seek training to refresh knowledge.
- Follow all appropriate take-on and risk management processes.
Ideal Candidate:
- ACA/ACCA - or about to qualify.
- Experience in financial analysis and data/model interrogation.
- Strong Excel skills and understanding of financial statements.
- Some client-facing experience.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously to demanding timetables.
- Enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
