Senior Financial Administrator - Norwich

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Administrator in Norwich. Our client is a national award-winning independent mortgage brokerage offering whole of market advice on first charge mortgages. Built around a clear ethos of exceptional customer service and giving back to their community on every mortgage.

How does the day-to-day look?

  • Oversee the finance department and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure that all internal systems related to payments, including charity deductions, are accurately updated.
  • Process commission statements from providers
  • Creating commission statements for all consultants
  • Administrating charity and tree planting deductions.
  • Administrating introducer and other deductions.
  • Creating Introducer remittance statements and updating their pipeline trackers
  • Finalising all statements and amounts ready for bank payments to be conducted.
  • Dealing with any consultant queries regarding payments and commissions
  • Conducting audits of pipelines and looking for discrepancies.
  • Keeping internal records updated / monitoring KPI’s
  • Reconciling banking on Xero
  • Liaising with Openwork regarding any commission issues
  • Training, developing and supporting Pay run Support staff

You will have:

  • Confident knowledge of Microsoft Excel including formulae
  • Outstanding attention to detail and focus
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Ability to follow set processes accurately
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven experience in similar role

Schedule: Monday to Friday.  Mon & Thurs (9-6) and Tus, Weds, Fri (either 9-5 or 10-6 on a 2-week rota)

Salary: up to £30,000 DOE
