Grafters Recruit require Counterbalance Forklift drivers for our client in Snetterton, Norfolk, NR16 2JU. Ideally you will have previous experience in a warehouse environment. Immediate starts available
You must hold a validCounterbalance licence either RTITB or ITSAAR
This role will require people who are physically fit as items a can be heavy.
This is a rotating shift
Week 1 - 14:00 - 22:30
Week 2 - 06:00 - 14:30
Pay Rate - £12.20 per Hour, Monday to Friday (*£13.67 Rolled up holiday)
You will need to have safety boot and Hi-Viz
Job role:
- Picking/packing or sorting from warehouse stock in preparation for loading to then go on to vehicles and out for delivery,
- Relocation of stock using Counterbalance Forklift
- Manual handling involved as it can vary from gym equipment light/heavy goods.
- Completion of all consignment paperwork.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of any discrepancies relating to missing items of stock and dispatch to reduce customer complaints;
- Undertake daily/weekly safety checks on the manual handling equipment and work areas, complete any relevant paperwork.
- Operate high standards of general housekeeping in order to maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times;
- Work in a safe manner and in compliance with Health and Safety regulations to reduce the risk of accidents;
- Assist other departments as and when necessary in order to ensure the smooth running of the business
