We are seeking an Administrator  / Bookings Clerk to join a local charity.  The successful candidate will have experience in managing diaries and booking appointments, preferably within a medical setting. The ideal candidate will be confident in handling phone calls, possess high accuracy in written and verbal communication, and maintain complete confidentiality.

Due to the sensitive nature of our work, an Enhanced DBS with barred list check is required and will be undertaken by Reed.

Day to day of the role:
  • Efficiently manage and organise diaries for medical professionals.
  • Book appointments and sessions with precision and care.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Input and update patient records with attention to detail.
  • Utilise Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
  • Schedule appointments using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or administrator, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be Enhanced DBS checked with barred list.
  • Willingness to complete mandatory training prior to commencing tasks.
