Are you a recent graduate looking to develop a career in administration?

Our client a professional services company have an exciting opportunity for a Wills and Probate Assistant to join their dynamic team. You will work closely with their Private Client team, managing a caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

This role is available on a full or part-time basis, with a minimum requirement of 25 office-based hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting documents and corresponding with clients and financial institutions.
  • Liaising with clients in person and by telephone, handling enquiries.
  • Managing sensitive and complex matters professionally and objectively.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to empathize with clients who have experienced a bereavement.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong work ethic and client-handling skills.
  • Friendly demeanor and ability to work well in a team.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proactive and able to use initiative to solve problems.
  • Genuine interest in private client matters and a desire to develop skills in this area.
  • Valid driving license (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
