Highway Sub Agent

Job Title: Sub Agent
Location: Norfolk
Salary: Up to £45,000
 
My client is looking for an ambitious sub agent to join their team in Norfolk. The right candidate will be eager to progress their career and learn new skills.
 
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
 
- Overseeing project delivery and setting standards for high-performing teams
- Producing Management Plans, documentation, and contract-specific requirements in line with project programs
- Conducting timely procurement reviews to ensure best-value procurement
- Ensuring adequate resources for project complexity and safe delivery
- Assisting in the production and monthly updates of the Project Cost Plan
- Monitoring project progress to meet required targets
- Reviewing and managing subcontracts and deliveries
 
The Ideal Candidate
 
- Must have experience in highways
- Experience with footway reconstruction and bridges/structures
- Education to HNC or Degree level in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, listening, and negotiation skills
- SMSTS or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
