Position: HR AssistantLocation: Based in Norwich 

Our client based in Norwich city centre are seeking an HR Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

To support the Managers and Coordinators within the Human Resources Team with the administration of people-related matters including, but not limited to, systems and data support, letters, calculations, employee initiatives, training, learning, and development.

Support of HR Administration:

  • Support the Team Coordinators with general HR administration
  • Assist with the administration of the employee life cycle
  • Maintain employee records and the HRIS system
  • Administer employee support initiatives
  • Support InTouch content creation
  • Oversee training expiration and continuation (e.g., MHFA, first aiders, etc.)
  • Assist with Right to Work checks and administer DBS checks
  • Manage daily enquiries and inboxes as the first line of response
  • Administer probation letters
  • Administer service recognition
  • Administer rewards for exams, retirement, etc.
  • Manage life events gifts
  • Reconcile team credit card transactions
  • Raise POs and invoices on Focal Point
  • Book team days and social events
  • Administer variation letters
  • Manage awards for volunteers

Education and Qualifications:

  • Essential: Good standard of Maths and English
  • Desirable: CIPD Level 3 (or above) qualified or equivalent experience

Skills and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Experience of working in an HR environment
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Positive and solutions-focused attitude
  • Desirable:
    • Experience of working in an accountancy practice or similar professional services firm
    • Experience of using HiBob HR system
