Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and physically fit individual to join a removals team as a Lifter and Shifter on a temporary basis. This role involves working alongside a member of staff who will act as both a driver and work leader. You will be responsible for helping clear vacated properties, ensuring items are safely and efficiently moved to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the removal and clearance of furniture, household goods, and other items from vacated properties.
  • Safely lift, carry, and load items onto vehicles.
  • Work under the supervision of the driver/work leader to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Ensure all items are handled with care to avoid damage during the removal process.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
  • No prior experience necessary, though previous experience in removals or manual labour is an advantage.
