Contract Position - Covering Maternity Leave
Location: Norwich
Shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 06:00 - 18:00
Hourly Rate: 35 per hour
Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer seeking a rewarding opportunity? We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team within a fast-paced packaging environment on a contract basis, covering maternity leave. This is your chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment while ensuring the continued efficiency of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance across packaging machinery and related systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with other team members to implement operational improvements.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain safe working practices at all times.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills, ideally in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage priorities.
- Health and safety focused with a strong understanding of industry standards.
- Availability to work weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 06:00 - 18:00.
