Job Title: SHEQ Advisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
- Provide guidance to management and teams on SHEQ policies, including developing site-specific procedures.
- Manage permitting and inspections, ensuring all relevant information is documented.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, creating corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
- Coordinate SHEQ training programs to ensure team readiness for safe operations.
- Monitor and report on SHEQ performance indicators, identifying improvement areas.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications (or working towards them).
- Qualified in SMSTS (Units 1-3).
- Background in utility or construction site environments, with strong knowledge of CDM 2015.
- Preferred qualifications include Lifting Operations accreditation.
- Experience in preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and incident reports.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and detail-oriented, capable of managing responsibilities under pressure.
