Role Responsibilities- Managing a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, including individuals, business owners, and SMEs
- Overseeing the preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax computations, and CT600s
- Providing tax planning and advisory services across areas such as income tax, CGT, IHT, and corporation tax
- Acting as a key point of contact for HMRC queries, disclosures, and investigations
- Keeping clients informed of tax changes and proactively identifying planning opportunities
- Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work, helping to grow the tax function internally
- Ensuring deadlines are met and compliance standards are upheld

Known for its personal, hands-on approach, the firm offers a full range of services including tax, audit, accounts preparation, payroll, and business advisory.
Candidate Requirements- CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or QBE with significant experience in tax)
- A strong background in both personal and corporate tax within a practice setting
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance standards
- Experience using tax software (knowledge of Iris or similar is advantageous)
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
