Ground Worker - Labourer

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are actively looking for a Ground Worker / Labourer for our client who is based in Horsford. 

• Hours of Work: 06h45 - 16h30 (17h00 – at peak periods).
• Monday to Friday with overtime worked as and when required. 
• Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour 
• This is a temporary position with the possibility for a permanent position after a successful 12 week period. 

• Small Plant equipment experience is preferred.
• Experience in laying paving slabs and concrete, is required for this position.

• Full UK Driving Licence is required for the role.
• Own Transport or the ability to reliably commute is essential due to location 

Job Summary

As part of the installation team, you’ll be traveling to site locations. For the purpose of Laying bases for our timber buildings to be erected onto. 

Liaising with Logistics manager, you will be able to work on your own or part as a team.

The position means you must have knowledge of laying paving slabs and concrete. 

Small landscaping works will also be undertaken occasionally, as and when required.

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Face to face customer interaction
• Working in customers gardens

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Laying paving slab bases
• Laying Concrete bases
• Small landscapes works from time to time
• Quality control
• Keep work area Tidy and Clean
• Stock Control
• Waste Control
• Adhere to health and safety at all time
