Your new companyWorking for a national manufacturer who manufacture and supply products to the construction industry. Due to increased demand, we have an opportunity for an interim Health & Safety Manager for up to 6 months to provide Health & Safety leadership and expertise.Your new roleAs the EHS Manager, you will oversee all environmental, health, and safety initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering a culture of safety, and driving sustainability programs. You will implement health & safety policies, ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations and be a visible presence across all areas of manufacturing. You will conduct risk assessments, audits and manage incident investigations, and lead training programmes to enhance safety awareness and emergency preparedness.You will monitor environmental performance metrics and manage sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and energy efficiency programs. You will serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and lead inspections.What you'll need to succeedWith experience gained in a manufacturing environment, you will hold Nebosh/Occupational Health & Safety qualifications.
