Job Overview:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care to vulnerable adults. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting service users with their daily living activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and delivering personalised care with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to service users, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, medication administration and feeding.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities to encourage independence.
- Monitor and record service users’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the care staff or management.
- Assist with medication administration adhering to our medication policy and ensuring adherence to prescribed treatments.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for service users, including the sanitization of care equipment and communal areas.
- Engage with service users in meaningful ways to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and therapists, to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills and remain compliant with standards and regulations.
- Always uphold confidentiality and respect for service users’ rights and dignity.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or support role is preferred.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of Care Certificate or Diploma in Caregiving or equivalent
- Current and valid DBS check on the update service (Disclosure and Barring Service).
- Valid Drivers License
