Ashley Kate HR are pleased to support a well-established client that are seeking an experienced HR Advisor on a full-time permanent basis.
This role will be based at their site in Norwich with a salary of up to 35,000. Hybrid working is available - 3 days on site
As a HR advisor you will provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring that HR policies, procedures, and best practices are effectively implemented across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing advice on employment legislation, company policies, and procedures.
- Support managers with employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance management cases.
- Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting adverts, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Provide guidance on learning and development opportunities, helping to identify training needs and supporting career progression plans.
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of HR records, including employee files, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and health and wellbeing programs.
- Advise on and manage the administration of employee benefits, including pensions and holiday entitlements.
- Monitor key HR metrics and prepare reports for senior management to support decision-making.
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar HR/generalist advisory role.
- A CIPD qualification ( or equivalent) or working towards is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering results.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
