As an HR Advisor, you will offer advice and support to line managers across a varied client base, applying a strong understanding of current and future employment law to each scenario. This is a true generalist role, however, we are looking for someone who is an ER specialist, who loves unpicking and resolving ER scenarios.The role: 
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers regarding all areas of HR areas following Company policy and current legislation (with an eye on future updates and practically applying these as applicable).
  • Support managers in dealing with performance, investigations, disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
  • Ensure Probation periods are fully utilised, for all parties to determine if the role is the right fit for them.
  • As part of the team, work across projects, such as system implementations, restructures, growth strategies, acquisitions and change management, culture change and more.
The applicant will:
  • Have previous experience working in an HR or ER role. With strong knowledge and evidence of the application of HR Practices, and policies aligned to employment law.
  • Able to make decisions and problem-solve.
  • Demonstrate the ability to escalate critical issues, when needed.
  • Have strong  IT skills across Microsoft Packages, with a high level of IT literacy and experience of utilising technology to streamline processes.
  • Experienced in utilising HRIS to support business.
  • Dependable, responsible, and operates with integrity.
