My client specialise in legal technology solutions, helping businesses around the globe to work smarter with solutions for managing documents, emails and legal knowledge. With a core focus on the iManage DMS (document management system), the team are renowned for their unparalleled technical knowledge and exceptional customer service. Due to business growth they are looking for an experienced project manager to join their team with experience in delivering lengthy projects in software solutions


About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role involves the internal and external management of multiple projects in conjunction with the Engineers, Senior Project Manager and Project Co-ordinator. The successful candidate must be a “self-starter” and demonstrate confident communication and excellent organisational skills, have a general awareness of software and IT solutions and a desire to grow their skills and involvement within the business.

The project Manager will display strong problem-solving skills, and a methodical approach is essential, as is the ability to review and adapt to internal and external changes

Responsibilities:

·         Management of customer projects (full lifecycle) with the customer, internal staff 

·         Responsibility for and capturing / monitoring scope; timescales; risks; quality criteria, budget and project benefits.

·         Deliver regular updates to customers on the status of their project.

·         Organising and attending stakeholder meetings and capturing key requirements.

·         Create and update project plans (and the tasks/progress around it), including key milestones and deliverables.

·         Manage the budget for projects within your tolerance, including reporting on these and indicating risks where appropriate.

·         Liaising closely with  technical team with deadlines etc. to ensure projects are kept on track.

·         Work closely with the Head of Project Services and PMO Team on the resourcing of technical engineers, and continued process improvement suggestions.

·         Work closely with the Senior Project Manager, providing summary status updates to projects. Work with the Project Co-ordinator, seeking assistance and delegating activities where required.

·         Maintain and create, where necessary, given documents/materials/documentation packs as used in projects undertaken  , ensuring consistent branding and quality of client/internal facing materials.

·         Overseeing active resolutions of issues encountered when managing projects

·         Excellent communication and organizational skills.

·         Strong multi-tasking skills.

·         Positive and pro-active attitude to dealing with change and challenge.

·         Knowledgeable of current industry and professional trends on project management.

·         Ability to remain calm when challenged and during busy periods.

·         Experience of administrating Smartsheet’s

·         PRINCE2 or similar recognised qualification

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (usually 9.00am – 5.30pm with 60 minutes unpaid lunch)
