Our client is a well-established glazing manufacturing company that specialises in the production of bespoke roof lighting systems. We are currently seeking an experienced manufacturing operative with good engineering experience.
Skills required:
- Ability to use hand tools
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Hand-building bespoke units
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
Overall role or purpose of the job:
- Operating production machinery to create parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly into roof lights
- Making recommendations for improvement in process or products as needed
- Ensuring work area is tidy and organized
- Properly storing products and components to prevent damage or safety hazards
- Following any reasonable requests from the Line Supervisor.
This is a permanent position 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday day shifts
