Production Assembler

  • £11.48 an hour
  • Hours - 8.15am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday 8.15-4.15pm Fridays
  • Duration: 3 months, likely to be longer

We are seeking a Production Assembler to join our client on a short-term contract, you will be focusing on assembling a range of electro-mechanical units and electronic circuit boards to create high-quality educational products. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with their hands, and is committed to producing work of the highest standard.

Day to day of the role:

  • Assemble and wire electro-mechanical units.
  • Solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards.
  • Pick component parts to form sub-assembly kits, supporting the Stores Department as needed.
  • Carry out additional tasks as reasonably required, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Adhere to production documentation and ensure products meet company standards.
  • Report any shortages and defects accurately and promptly.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations as outlined in the Company Rulebook.

No specific experience is required as full training is given however you must be:

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to follow formal procedures and production documentation.
  • Competence in using hand tools, screwdrivers and equipment.
  • Willingness to learn and operate equipment within the Production Department.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
