Directly Responsible to: Production Manager The role Produce finished roof lights to company schedules and drawings, while maintaining excellent housekeeping and following the company's ISO quality policy. Responsibilities • To operate machinery • To assemble all variants of the product range Skills required • Must be able to use hand tools • Must be to be able to interpret engineering drawings • Be able to hand build bespoke units • Excellent time management skills • Be able to work on own initiative • Able to work in a target driven environment Overall Role or Purpose of the job: • Operate production machinery to create parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly into roof lights • Make recommendations for improvement in process or products as appropriate • Ensure work area is tidy and organised • Store products and components in such way as not to lead to damage, defects or a safety hazard • Carry out any reasonable request given by Line Supervisor Essential: • Good verbal and written English, Based in Diss Norfolk
