In this role, the Field Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial catering equipment, ensuring all appliances are operating efficiently. You will also handle electrical repairs, perform PAT testing, and may be required to conduct plumbing work and ensure compliance with gas safety standards.
The ideal Field Maintenance Engineer has experience working with commercial catering equipment, along with a solid understanding of electrical repairs, plumbing, and diagnostic skills. They should be team-oriented yet capable of working independently, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
The Role:
- Diagnose and repair commercial catering equipment.
- Perform plumbing tasks as needed for kitchen installations and repairs.
- Conduct electrical repairs and ensure all equipment is safe and operational.
- Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
The Person:
- Experience working with commercial catering equipment.
- Familiarity with gas safety regulations and certification.
- Plumbing experience relevant to kitchen installations and repairs.
