Serve Talent have partnered with a successful Engineering business to recruit a Mechanical Fitter for their manufacturing facility based in Norwich, Norfolk. Working on a four and half day working week (no shifts!), with great company benefits, this would be your foot in the door with one of the most prestigious manufacturers in the local region offering your progression, development and training opportunities onsite. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The mechanical assembly of all types of the company's product range.
  • Preparation for final test and paint.
  • Operation and setting of various equipment as instructed.
  • Using and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Assisting with routine inspections and testing of equipment, when required.
  • Complying with company Health and Safety procedures.
  • Ensure current legislation and safety standards are followed at all times.
  • May be required to work overtime or carry out work off-site, when the company requires.
  • Carry out other tasks as may be reasonably requested by Line Manager that are within the role holder's ability.
Education / Qualification Requirements:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable).
  • Level 3 in Engineering.
