Service Care Solutions is working with a local authority, based in Norfolk, which needs a senior education lawyer to handle SEND legal matters on behalf of the Council. If you are looking for a role whereby you can make a lasting impact on vulnerable individuals, then please read on!
This role can pay £50-£60phumbrella, depending upon experience, and is a 6-month rolling contract. It can be done on a hybrid basis (open to discussion).
The Responsibilities Of The Senior Education Lawyer Role:
- To manage a full caseload from inception to completion relating to SEND law matters
- Cases will include SEND, Tribunals, Disability Discrimination, School exclusions, judicial reviews and admission appeals
- Prepare and attend SEND tribunals
The Person:
- A qualified solicitor, legal executive or barrister with 3+ years of PQE within SEND Law
- Previous local authority or public sector experience is essential
- Candidates must have experience of SEND Tribunals and be able to manage a caseload of SEND tribunal matters
