Legal Secretary (Temporary)

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Dispute Resolution team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in litigation and familiarity with Proclaim software.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Dispute Resolution team.
  • Manage correspondence, legal documents, and reports, ensuring they are formatted, filed, and distributed accurately.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates.
  • Maintain and organise case files to ensure information is kept up to date and accessible.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with legal standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of court bundles and other legal documents.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other professionals to coordinate various aspects of case management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a legal secretary, specifically within litigation.
  • Proficiency in Proclaim or similar legal case management software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
