Job Summary:

My clients a leading firm of Norwich Solicitors are looking for a Commercial Property Paralegal to join their friendly team

Principal responsibilities:

To provide a full range of legal and paralegal support to the busy Commercial Property department including:

  • Assisting on property acquisitions, sales, lettings and leasehold property management
  • Carrying out searches and reviewing titles and documents
  • Drafting of basic property documents
  • Post completion reporting, scheduling
  • Checking of schedules and management of documents

Additional responsibilities:

  • Dealing with Land Registry and SDLT formalities
  • Charging exercises, including co-ordinating conditions precedent documents
  • Scheduling and compiling bibles of documents
  • Placing portfolios of properties into charge
  • Building and maintaining effective client relationships

Person specification:

  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • A strong team player
  • Extensive IT abilities

  • Flexibility and commitment
  • An ability to operate with minimum supervision

Experience and qualifications required:

  • Good academic record
  • General property law knowledge essential
  • Previous property Paralegal experience
