Swarm Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established, Directly authorised independent mortgage firm looking to expand their team. Our clients have been successfully helping people with their financial needs for over 30 years, and have a large number of loyal customers that need to be serviced.

Our clients are offering a great opportunity for a Trainee Mortgage Adviser, with full training provided and the potential to progress into a qualified mortgage adviser quickly. This is the perfect role if you're looking to enter the financial services sector, and develop into a Mortgage and Protection Adviser.

To be considered for this role, ideally you will already have experience in financial services or a strong sales background, and your CeMap qualification nearly finished.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Basic Salary £20,000 - £25,000

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working hours, giving you a great work life balance whilst staying accessible to clients.
  • For the first few months, you will be required to work from the office most days.
  • Work from home full time in the future, with 2 meetings a month in the office in Norwich

Desired Experience:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A strong desire to develop a career in the mortgage industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Ideally experience in financial services or a strong sales background.
  • Motivated and eager to learn with a long-term vision for progression.
  • CeMap qualification completed or close to completed.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Study mortgage products, lending criteria, and financial regulations to gain expertise.
  • Assist qualified advisers with initial client consultations and gather necessary documentation.
  • Handle paperwork, data entry, and follow-ups with clients, lenders, and insurance providers.
  • Ensure adherence to mortgage regulations and company policies.
  • Observe experienced advisers to understand the advisory process and client interaction.
