Contract Personnel are pleased to be working with their well known client based in Rackheath.

Our client is looking for a Warehouse Supervisosr to join their team on a perminant basis.

Duties

  • Supervise warehouse operations and staff to ensure operation of an effective and safe Warehouse Management System, as directed by senior management.
  • Liaise with the Expeditor to understand priority of daily tasks and allocate jobs to warehouse staff.  
  • Prioritise and manage goods in and out.
  • Lead by example in all general warehouse duties, including: stock picking; preparing goods for despatch; inspection of incoming goods; operating forklift trucks, overhead cranes, and other plant and equipment; driving company van.
  • Supervise quality control, including overseeing goods inwards inspections, stock checks and inspections, and release goods into stock.
  • Inspect supplier's quality documentation to ensure goods conform to the requirements of the purchase order. Scan and archive quality documentation.
  • Assess customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by acquiring an in-depth understanding of the company’s products, and by attending workshops and training.
  • Assist Management in training and support for warehouse staff.
  • Support the implementation of the company’s Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Carry out any other tasks deemed appropriate to the operation of the company.
