Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, looking for an exciting new challenge in a fast-paced food/FMCG environment? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Norwich.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) on machinery and equipment within a food manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on plant machinery and production lines.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards.
- Work closely with the team to maintain smooth and efficient operations across multiple shifts.
Key Requirements:
- Electrical bias with relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent).
- Experience in machinery maintenance, ideally within the food/FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and PLC fault finding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Previous experience with 4 on, 4 off shift patterns is desirable.
