Your new companyWe have a new opportunity for night shift maintenance engineer working for a large manufacturer based in Diss. This is a market leading business who have several manufacturing sites across the UK providing packaging solutions for large retailers.Your new roleWorking as a night shift Engineer Monday to Thursday 10pm-6am and Friday 5pm to 10.30pm, you will maintain the site assets via the planned maintenance system. You will respond to any breakdowns with urgency and reducing downtime wherever possible. You will fault find on electrical circuits you will have good knowledge of PLC systems, ideally Siemens S5/7 or Allen Bradley. You will have a good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, steam systems and mechanical drive systems. You will be a problem solver, working well in a team environment, adhering to health & safety procedures at all times.What you'll need to succeedYou will hold relevant Engineering qualifications in Electrical and Mechanical engineering to NVQ/City & Guilds level 3. With solid manufacturing experience, ideally within FMCG, be flexible as some overtime will be required during busy periods.What you'll get in returnA salary in the range of £50k, 25+8 holidays, enhanced company pension, sick pay scheme, discount schemes.
