- Candidates should have an engineering qualification such as a HNC/Level 3/NVQ and experience in a manufacturing environment.
- The role involves performing PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical machinery, with a focus on conveyor belts and packaging systems.
- The salary for this position is competitive, with overtime available at double time when required.
- The shift pattern alternates between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday, and candidates should possess strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out PPMs and Reactive maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical machinery
* Working knowledge of conveyor belts and packaging systems
* Work alongside the other engineers to perform appropriate duties
* Ensure all machinery and equipment is operating effectively
* Record and report any faults identified and solve these effectively
* PLC Fault finding to I/O Level
Requirements:
* An Engineering relevant qualification, such as a HNC/Level 3/NVQ
* Experience with a manufacturing environment previously, maintaining standard industry machinery
* Have great communication skills and a strong work ethic
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm (Week 1), and Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 7pm (Week 2). Overtime is also at double time when required.
