- The role requires electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, including fault finding on machinery and working knowledge of conveyor belts and packaging systems.
- The position offers a salary of £40,000 per annum, with overtime available at double time.
- The shift pattern alternates between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday, providing a structured work schedule.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out PPMs and Reactive maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical machinery
* Working knowledge of conveyor belts and packaging systems
* Work alongside the other engineers to perform appropriate duties
* Ensure all machinery and equipment is operating effectively
* Record and report any faults identified and solve these effectively
* PLC Fault finding to I/O Level
Requirements:
* An Engineering relevant qualification, such as a HNC/Level 3/NVQ
* Experience with a manufacturing environment previously, maintaining standard industry machinery
* Have great communication skills and a strong work ethic
The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm (Week 1), and Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 7pm (Week 2). Overtime is also at double time when required.
