R13 are partnering with a brilliant, specialist manufacturing business in their search for a Manufacturing Production Manager to join their team in Norwich. Responsible for overseeing and improving department processes and projects, as well as assisting in the management of the production team.

This is a full time, permanent position working 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, and is offering a competitive salary depending on experience.

The day to day

  • Overseeing production systems from conception to delivery, ensuring projects are compliant and within budget.
  • Analysing project performance and actively seeking to improve and enhance the efficiency, as well as resolving any problems that may arise through root cause analysis.
  • Managing project and departmental resources, ensuring the accurate tracking and reporting of performance.
  • Assisting with the management of the team, implementing and monitoring KPI’s and providing support where needed.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring all operations are compliant with health and safety regulations.

You will have/be

  • Knowledge and experience of 2D and 3D CAD design software.
  • Experience managing and motivating a team.
  • Strong working experience of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms, and experience of New Product Introduction and reworking design changes.
  • Self-motivated, a methodological approach a natural problem solver.
