Job Title: Operations ManagerLocation: Norwich, with occasional travel to site (Use of company pool car for site visits)Salary: £48,000 - £60,000 per annum Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager with a proven background in the high voltage energy sector. Based in Norwich, with occasional travel to various project sites, you will oversee operational activities, ensuring efficient and timely project delivery while upholding the highest safety standards. You will also be responsible for leading the operational team to deliver outstanding results. Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and optimise operational processes and projects within the high voltage energy sector
  • Ensure the successful delivery of high voltage projects on time and within budget
  • Oversee procurement and supplier relationships specific to high voltage equipment and materials
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the high voltage energy industry
  • Manage and report on operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and customer service
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting operational expenses, and ensuring cost control
  • Mentor and manage the Operations Assistant, ensuring team cohesion and high engagement
  • Maintain strong communication with senior management and external stakeholders
