Plant and Equipment Supervisor£33,366 - £37,938 per annumGrade F37 hours per weekPermanentWe are currently seeking a skilled technician to oversee the repair and maintenance of essential plant, vessels, and equipment for the Broads Authority. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional, comfortable managing a dedicated team and dealing with contractors, ensuring operational readiness across all our assets including vessels, heavy machinery and essential workshop facilities.In addition to the above, other key responsibilities will be to ensure timely completion of annual refit programmes, diagnosing and repairing equipment, conducting preventative maintenance and managing certification compliance. The role will also contribute to project planning and ensure accurate record-keeping of all activities.The successful candidate will have a strong background in either vessel or plant maintenance, with practical skills in hydraulic systems, metal fabrication and electrical systems.Applicants will demonstrate proactive leadership skills, with experience supervising teams and scheduling complex workflows, ideally with HNC/HND qualifications (or equivalent in mechanical engineering).
