Heating Contract Manager/Contract Management Officer

Contract Type: Temporary – 1x until Dec and 1x until March 2025

Location: Remote role with the occasional travel to offices across London

Hourly rate: £32ph  

We are seeking two Contract Managers to work with one of the biggest housing associations in the UK on a temporary basis. These roles are crucial for managing all mechanical and electrical assets across various regions. The successful candidates will ensure that service delivery maintains high standards and complies with legal and contractual obligations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as the primary liaison for contracts, ensuring all mechanical and electrical assets are managed, serviced, and repaired according to legislative and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular contract meetings and maintain day-to-day liaison with contractors regarding servicing schedules and repairs.
  • Monitor and track all servicing and repair actions to ensure compliance with standards and ability to report status at any stage.
  • Manage and exceed servicing and programme requirements to meet all compliance targets.
  • Develop and manage a robust suite of KPIs to hold all parties accountable and drive excellent service delivery.
  • Undertake ad hoc site visits for quality assurance and to resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to procedures for property access, compliance, and audit standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing external contractors within a social housing context.
  • Strong understanding of contract management principles.
  • A good understanding of M&E
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good experinece using Excel including v look ups.
