Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Sector: FMCG – NOT MEATLocation: South of NorwichWorking Hours: Earlies and Lates Salary: £45,000+ DOE, Overtime available  ISQ Recruitment is partnering with a reputable client near Norwich to find a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team. If you have experience as a Maintenance Engineer, particularly in the Food or Agricultural sectors, and have a mechanical or electrical bias, we would love to hear from you.Role Overview:In this essential position, you will collaborate with the onsite maintenance team to support the production team during breakdowns and conduct preventative maintenance. You'll proactively identify engineering issues to prevent failures, thereby minimising downtime and preserving productivity. Your skills will be vital in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our client's operations. Experience in welding and fabrication would be a significant advantage.  Responsibilities:
  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and project work
  • Working on a variety of equipment such as conveyors, extruders, mixers, labellers, wrappers, automation controls, and PLCs
  • Project work including machine upgrades, installations, and continuous improvements
  Essential Skills & Experience:The ideal candidate would possess balanced knowledge and experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
