Position 1 Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer for our client innovative design and engineering manufacturing site based in Norwich. This role involves responsibility for planning and organising resources, identifying and resolving issues to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to business requirements.
Responsibility:
- Plan and organise resources, identify and resolve issues and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to business requirements.
- Take ownership of the project from receipt of tender file from Sales staff through to project completion.
- Act as the main focal point for all communication between the customer and operations.
- Proactively monitor project progress, involving liaison with all stakeholders.
- Ensure all order entry forms and business systems entries are accurate, involving identifying and correcting any errors.
- Generate Project programmes based on Manufacturing / Engineering information, monitor progress against the programme and report on progress in a timely manner and to the customers requirements.
- Resolve any contractual disputes that may arise with the customer.
Qualifications:
- HND or Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent
- Have relevant experience in a similarProject Engineerrole
- Want to further their development inProject Engineer
- Possess commercial awareness of the oil and gas & Defence Industry
- Possess an understanding ofProject EngineerPrincipals
