**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining a variety of tools and equipment used in our production processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop new tools and modifications to existing ones based on engineering specifications and production requirements.
  • Utilise machining techniques such as milling, turning, grinding, and drilling to shape raw materials into tool components.
  • Assemble and test tools to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as a Tool Maker or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in machining techniques and operating machine tools.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
