Berry Recruitment are seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Technician to join a busy team in a permanent role,

After site-specific training, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising production equipment. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with formal electrical qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily operational checks and support production with equipment setup.
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns, implementing preventative solutions.
  • Conduct planned maintenance.
  • Oversee contractors to ensure quality standards.
  • Participate in required training and provide out-of-hours support when needed.
Requirements
  • Experience or apprenticeship trained engineer
  • Qualifications within engineering
  • Strong knowledge within engineering and safe working practices.
  • Mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
