Job description

Are you looking for an apprenticeship where you can learn a trade?

We have a fantastic opportunity, and are searching for Manufacturing Apprentice's to join our manufacturing team in Norwich at Anglian Home Improvements. We are looking for Manufacturing Apprentices to work as part of our experienced glass and fabrication teams.

As a Manufacturing Apprentice you will integrate into a production team progressing from assisting, to performing a variety of tasks, by rotating and working in a variety of different departments. You will gain insight and knowledge of our complete manufacturing process.

It is an essential part of this role that you complete study towards the Level 2 Fenestration Fabrication Apprenticeship, which can be completed within your working week.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricating UPVC high quality windows and doors using the relevant machinery and tools
  • Contributing to the overall factory unit productivity/quality targets are achieved
  • Producing high-quality premium brand products
  • Learning and understanding of Health & Safety on site
  • Keeping up to date with your apprenticeship studies

Qualifications

  • Ability and willingness to study for the Level 2 Manufacturing qualification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft word
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Interest in working within manufacturing or within the Fenestration Industry

  • Competitive apprentice salary of £15,600 per annum, increasing in accordance with NMW or NLW after 12 months (£19,500 or £ 23,809.50 per annum currently), subject to working hours.
