Our client specializes in the design, support, and manufacturing of rotating electrical machines and associated equipment. They're looking for a Mechanical - Electrical Fitter with a strong background within a similar environment. They're an expanding company with plenty of work coming their way.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assemble rotating equipment (rotors, stators, bearings, etc.), install instrumentation, and prepare for testing
  • Multi-skilled Electrical and Mechanical
  • Conduct strip-downs and repairs of equipment
  • Operate overhead lifting equipment, hand/power tools, and testing devices
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ISO 9001 standards
  • Occasional travel to customer sites - - Rental cars or will pay mileage
  • Working in a team of 7-8 - Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced with motors and generators
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering
