Working Hours: 3 long shifts per week, largely weekdays with some weekend shifts

Salary:

  • Monday to Friday (06:00 - 20:00) £21 per hour
  • Saturdays and Nights £25 per hour
  • Sundays and Bank Holidays £29 per hour
About the Role: We are looking for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Kestrel Ward team at Hellesdon Hospital as an agency nurse. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with experience in NSFT inpatient wards to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients on Kestrel Ward.
  • Administer medication, ensuring safe and accurate delivery in line with care plans.
  • Use electronic systems such as EPMA (Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration) and Lorenzo for patient record management.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Carry out risk assessments, care planning, and monitoring of patient progress.
  • Support patients with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • Experience of working in NSFT inpatient wards.
  • Proficient in using EPMA and Lorenzo systems.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
