- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Engage with claimants via telephone and face-to-face assessments to understand the impact of their health conditions on their daily life and ability to work.
- Review Medical Evidence: Analyse a variety of medical documentation, including GP reports and specialist opinions, to develop a well-rounded understanding of each claimant's health.
- Prepare Objective Reports: Compile clear, concise, and accurate reports that meet DWP guidelines and support the decision-making process for disability benefits.
- Interview Claimants: Gather information on health conditions and daily challenges to assess their impact on the claimant's life.
- Document Review: Scrutinise medical records and other relevant evidence to create a comprehensive assessment.
- Report Writing: Draft detailed, objective reports that provide recommendations based on your professional findings.
- Registered Adult Nurses
- Occupational Therapists (Adult-focused)
- Physiotherapists (Adult-focused)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification in your respective field.
- Registration: Must have at least 2 years of active registration with the NMC (for Nurses) or HCPC (for Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists).
- Skills: Strong communication, proficient typing, and excellent IT skills are essential. Your ability to engage with claimants with empathy and professionalism is crucial.
